Fun times and a 7 month old

Updates:
Things have been good here in the Reichert home. After weeks of new sicknesses, and a messed up sleep schedule, Siena has officially started sleeping through the night again! Wahoo!

Joel finally found out his start date at Dell.  He will be starting August 6th.  We are so excited for that!

The other day, I decided to try putting Siena's hair in a ponytail.  I know it's pretty short, but it actually worked! It looked pretty silly, but I am proud to say that Siena's hair is actually long enough to go into a ponytail!:)
Yesterday we babysat for our neighbors baby, and Siena had so much fun having another baby around!
She kept grabbing for his binky

She was working so hard for his attention.lol

Beckham loved the buttons!

Beckham found 2 of Siena's binky's, and man was he proud of himself! So funny!

Siena took a bath in our sink last night, and she loved it!

If you can't see it, she is concentrating super hard to catch the bubble.lol

She even attempted to drink out of the faucet..lol

Last but not least ladies and gentleman, we have a 7 month old! I can't believe how fast it's going! We took her 7 month picture, but unfortunately she didn't want to sit still, or leave the paper alone, but the pictures turned out pretty cute!

A bath, a quilt, and 2 months!

Well not too much has been happening.  Just waiting for Siena to get used to her shoes, but I have seen improvements in her attitude, so that's good! She got her first real bath the other day! Because of all the casts, she hasn't had a full bath ever! So that was a fun day.

She seemed a little nervous at first, but quickly warmed up to it. So cute!:)

I also finally finished the quilt top I was working on for my Gma! I almost had it finished the day that Siena was born, but didn't quite get it done, so I just barely finished it the other day.
A couple of days ago I snapped a pic of Siena when she was making a bunch of bubbles with her mouth..lol:
Also, Siena is officially over 2 months old now! She turned 2 months old on September 21st! Unfortunately she wasn't really in the mood for pictures, but we got a few.

So that's pretty much it! Have a great day!

1 Year Anniversary and Siena's 1 Month

August 21, 2011 marked our 1 year anniversary as well as Siena's 1 month birthday. It was an amazing time for Kristin and I as we thought about the last year. We both love food, so as you can see, a lot of our celebrating was going out to eat or making food. On Saturday we went to Little Caesar's and then to Macy's for some ice cream.

Then on Sunday, Kristin gave me a journal that she had been writing in for this last year that recorded her thoughts on what has happened in our life. It was so fun to go back and read from her perspective our last year of events.

That night, we also baked and ate a no bake cheesecake with a cookie crust.

We also took some pictures for Siena's 1 month birthday!

Then on Monday we went to Gloria's Little Italy. We have been talking about wanting to go there for months now and haven't got around to it, so we finally went while Rachel babysat Siena for us. It was so much fun to have some time with just the two of us. We had some amazing 5 formaggi pasta as well as Italian Sodas. Afterwards we walked and talked while at the mall and then we went to Yogurtland and got some amazing icecream sundaes! We decided that we'd have no guilt this weekend when it came to food, and I'm pretty sure from the pictures, you can tell we didn't.

That ends our 3 days of celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We really enjoyed the fun time together and look forward to another exciting year. This past year we got married, we had a baby, I completed an internship at Goldman Sachs, and Kristin graduated from college. I'm sure this next year will be full of surprises as well!
