Christmas Stockings
I just finished all of our Christmas stockings yesterday. We searched for a while to find a cool pattern/design and finally saw these ones on etsy.

So anyway, I couldn't find a pattern, so I made one and here is our finished product:
First, I took strips of the fabric that we picked out and pieced them together
Then I put my pattern on top and cut out the shape.
I also finally used the quilting function on my sewing machine that I haven't had a chance/reason to use yet, so I was super excited about that! I also put batting between the layers to make them feel more legit.lol
So anyway, those are our stockings! We can't wait for Christmas now!

ReplyDeleteReally nice post with your beautiful Christmas stockings! They make my puny felt stockings look pathetic. Still, there is a lot of sweet family history behind those stockings and they are special to me because of that. Loved to see the beginnings of your own personal family history, Kristin and Joel!
