Siena Update

We went to the Orthopedics on Thursday for a little check-up to get some questions answered.  Looks like everything is looking good! We were worried about a few things like the fact that her ex-club foot is smaller than the other foot.  Apparently it's pretty normal for the club foot to be about a half a size smaller than the other foot.  He said sometimes it can happen where that foot just doesn't grow as well and it can be a lot smaller, but that's pretty rare. So we're keeping our fingers crossed!  We've mentioned this before, but he also talked again about how sometimes when a child only has 4 toes on a foot that leg can grow to be shorter than the other, but he won't be able to tell for a while because they only do the x-ray once they're at least 6 months old. So we shall see! Anyway, we got 1 new shoe for her.lol One of her shoes was starting to get too small so we traded it out for one that's 2 sizes bigger!lol It fits her so much better now though! Here are some pictures from this morning:
Her left foot is the bigger one(on the right in the picture..)
She's getting so big!!
There's the update! We just love this little girl! She's a cutie!

  1. Siena is just the cutest little thing! There is something about her that reminds me of Julie at that age. I guess it is because Julie's hair was darker than any of my other children's hair. Just have to say she is beautiful! As for the foot problems, we will have to make it part of our monthly fasts. I'll tell the family here and you can spread it to others, too. We want her to be a healthy and happy little girl! She can't help but be happy with outstanding parents as you two! Thanks for the update! It is important to know about these things.
